Background - Barbara Grist

From the plains of Kansas, I moved to beautiful Southwest Colorado in the early eighties and have continued to explore my new state and the area ever since. I love the diversity of the people and place that this region brings.

Venturing around the world since 1975 with camera in hand I have explored many other cultures and countries, living for up to a year exploring. Most of my images have a story behind them from those special moments in time.

I am flexible and willing to travel for interesting jobs, projects and events. My teacher background helps me share my craft to others individually or in group settings. I have developed my own curriculum in photography and the arts and have been the expert in Road Scholar photography workshops in the area for several years.  I also teach primitive pottery for the Road Scholar Intergenerational workshops and a variety of art and photography classes in my community.

Contact me if you like my style and would like to book my services, want fine art images for home or office or are interested in exploring your creative side !

Have camera will travel (not only on an ATV) !!
